Jennifer Winget has replaced Sukriti Khandpal as Dr Ridhimma. Earlier it was Sukriti who replaced Shilpa Anand (Dil Mill Gayee). Do you think it will affect the show?
"If the audience accept Jennifer as Dr Ridhimma and are happy then it's not going to affect the show. I am really sad that Sukriti left and at the same time happy that Jennifer has come on the show. So it's a mixed reaction as Jennifer is my closest friend. We have worked together in Kasuati Zindagi Kii."

Karan: Hi main hoon Dr Armaan Malik aur main is waqt baita hoon Jennifer ke saath...Lekin aap aisa mat sochiye ki main, you know I'm cheating on Riddhima, aisa kuch nahin hai! Main bohati faithful, sincere insaan hoon. Aur main bas yeh kehna chahta hoon ki ab se aapki aur meri nayi Riddhima yehi hai! [Aisi kya wajah hai ki Sukirti ko replace kar diya gaya hai?] Wajah main actually aapko bataa nahin paoonga, as an actor you know its not for us to get involved ki wajah kya hoti hai actors/actress change karne ki. Jennifer was my first onscreen wife in a show called Kasauti Zindagi Ki! Aur us mein main bohat ghatiya tha!

Karan: I know aap log kaafi confused hai... and main samajh sakta hoon! Aap ek face se comfortable feel karna shuru karte hai toh koi aur aa jaata hai... But Jennifer is a very very talented actress! She's a beautiful girl!

Jenny: Yeh tricky situation hai ki aap pehle, you know, 2 actresses have already played this character...and so well... have been loved so much... Toh main sirf yehi kahungi ki I'm trying my best you know... Main samjhne ki khoshish kar rahi hoon ki is character ka essence kya hai and little little things that she does, she says... and how...
Karan: and you always have my help! I'm always there
Jenny: and really...I always have his help, I have everybodys help! I mean the whole team...itna support kar rahe hai mujhe har ek cheez samjhana mein...Really...thank you (Karan), I'm really grateful to everybody
Karan: Riddhima Gupta ka character wohi hai. Actors badal gaye hai... and you know things always happen for the better!

Karan: Jenny aur main bohat saalo se ek doosre ke dost hai...It's just very fortunate ki mujhe phir se mauqa mil raha hai Jenny ke saath kaam karne ka! Kyunki I really missed working with her...and it's just a very nice feeling working with a very close friend!
Jenny: Chaar saal baad hum ek doosre ke saath phir se kaam kar rahe hai...
Karan: Chaar saal !
Jenny: After four long years! Lekin abhi bhi matlab wohi ek jo hamaari chemistry hai, jo comfort level hai, it's still the same and it's so surprising ki kahin kuch alag nahin lag raha hai ya kahin kuch uncomfortable nahin hai.

Karan: Main Sukirti ko abhi kaafi miss kar raha hoon actually... because itne time se woh Riddhima ka character play kar rahi thi and she's become a part of the family. And you know we're very close friends now. It's a very unfortunate situation and a fortunate situation together ki Sukirti ab show mein nahin hai aur unki jagah Jenny aayi hai.

Jaise ke aapne bataya ke sab jaane pehchaane log hai. Sabse pehle toh Karan ke saath aapne kaam kiya hua hai. Kasauti mein toh unho ne aapse bohat bewafaai ki thi...toh yahaan par aap kya umeed karti hai unse?
"Yahaan par main unse koi bewafaai ki umeed nahin karti! Lekin haan Kasauti mein mere khayal se humein chaar saal ho gaye abhi...Kasauti mein kaam karke bohat mazaa aaya tha! Aur bohat acha dost hai mera Karan! Abhi tak main usse mili nahin hoon lekin I'm really excited ki hum chaar saal baad phir se ek saath kaam karenge. Jab yeh show shuru hua tha tab mera aur Karan ka show saath shuru hua tha... Sangam aur Dill Mill Gayye ek hi din shuru hua tha...20th August, i still remember... Toh humne bola tha ki dekho Kasauti toh khatam ho gaya, doosre show mein akele-akele jaa rahe hai....Same day shuruaat hui! Mujhe yeh bhi yaad hai ki uska aur mera hoarding jo tha saath mein hi laga tha. Aur ab hum phir yahaan vaapas aa gaye! Toh I dont know...its a small world! I'm really excited ki itne waqt ke baad hum saath mein kaam karenge! Aur humne bohat aish ki hai Kasauti ki set par!"
